More research and clinical trials needed
Only 4% of federal funds allocated for cancer reserach goes ti kids. Clinical trials for kids will start 6 ½ years adult trials.
Cancer is the #1 cause of death in kids
1 in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer before they turn 20 years old.
Better treatments needed
Many of the treatments for children undergoing cancer treatment are decades old.
